GLAZING GASKET

UNILUX only uses highly robust seals made of synthetic rubber (EPDM) in its aluminium superstructure. Each glass section is ventilated and drained separately by our moulded rail section. This design is installed efficiently and has many identical parts to ensure economical construction.

DESIGN

If you carry heavy loads, you need a strong cross to bear them. That’s why UNILUX uses a steel connector to fasten its post and crossbar system, thus providing added rigidity and stability. What’s more, laminated wood profiles ensure high strength and can be glued together to depths of up to 350 mm in accordance with their static specifications. This allows you to put even the most challenging designs into practice.

HIGH QUALITY WOOD

Out of love for craftsmanship, UNILUX uses premium quality laminated timber. As an FSC-certified company, we source woods from sustainably managed forests. We also meet these high standards in the production process to ensure a long, healthy life for the wood.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Thanks to a thermally broken superstructure, heat insulation achieves passive house standards. The outer functional layer made of aluminium profiles is hermetically separated from the inner design layer made of wood. Thanks to the large glass surfaces in FineLine façade systems, high solar gains can also be achieved with suitable glazing.

Aluminium-Einbrennlackierung

“The paint is coming off.” This is not a phrase we hear from UNILUX customers. This because we use an aluminum stove enamel paint for wood-aluminium windows that has proven effective in the automotive industry. The result is extremely tough paints that can withstand unsightly weather.

Ästhetik

The face width of UNILUX FineLine façade profiles is a mere 50 mm. This ultra-slim structure provides extensive scope for design, even across different storeys, without compromising on functionality. Large openings with sash weighing up to 400 kg can be realised in combination with the UNILUX Integral lift-slide door.
